Here is another very familiar face at Collinsville Community Library: Vicki Waltermyer – President of Friends, Volunteer, Graphic Designer for Posters, Jill-of-All Trades!
Vicki has been a library user and Friend for about 30 years and remembers the joy of visiting the Bread Truck Library! Vicki enjoys shelving books, and browsing through old and new books – “It’s like visiting with friends.”
Vicki loves the welcoming, friendly atmosphere at our library. Everyone is welcoming and more than willing to listen and assist in any way they can. One of Vicki’s favorite authors is Louise Penny and her Armand Gamache series and she loves Gladys Taber and visits to Stillmeadow.
When not at the library you can find her at church or playing clarinet in the Red Lion Felton Band. Of course, always with a book wherever she is. No wasted minutes. Always reading or knitting.
