Keep them Longer

Boy, do we have exciting news to share for the New Year!  We are making the move to a new catalog system to better serve you.  Not only that, but when the SPARK catalog goes live, you will be able to keep most library items longer!  We are going to a three week loan period which means added convenience. You will have more time to read, and more time to get those items back to your library.  So many of you told us you wish you had your items longer…we heard you!

But wait…there is more!

You will be able to renew many of our 658,000 library items in three week increments for up to a year.  Say what?  You heard correctly! You will have more time to read your favorite novel, try out those new recipes, and learn that new skill.  Click here for details.

Go Audio!

I recently listened to The Fault in Our Stars in audio book format while driving to the beach. Audio Books are a great option for readers on the go. You can listen to them in the car, during a run or when you’re doing chores around the house. If you just don’t have the time to sit down with a book, audio books are the way to go.
