The
photography of Shana Prematta, a resident of Freeland, MD, will
be on display at the library from March 1st through March 27th.
Shana enjoys taking photos and painting pictures of her rural
community.She
has participated in the Gifted and Talented Art Program in
Hereford Schools since age 12, and is currently a freshman
at Hereford High.
Shana specializes in photographing and painting landscapes

Gardening Series- Think Spring!
A three-session gardening series, presented by Master Gardener,
Pat Sweetman is underway. Each session will be
held at 6:30 pm in the Library’s Heritage Room. The
programs are free although pre-registration is required.
Upcoming program offerings include: Herbs to Use Everyday on Tuesday, March
23rd and Gardening for the Lazy on Monday, April 19th.
Registration begins on the first business day of the month in
which the program is offered. Class size is limited. Click

Friends of the Library BIG Book Sale & Donation Request
The Friends of the Library will be holding a large Used Book
Sale on Sunday, March 21st at the library. The sale will
feature 15-20,000 books, audio books, music and movies at
bargain prices. Sunday hours are 11 am until 4 pm, with $5
early bird entrance at 10 am.
Tax-deductible donations of books, music and movies will be
accepted at the library on Saturday, March 13th from 10 am until
3 pm, and Sunday, March 14th from 11 am until 2 pm.
