Gingerbread Festival

Hey, kids!  It's time for the library's Gingerbread House Decorating Contest!  First, read the Rules so you know what to do.  Then click here for an application for a Building Permit. Building permits are free, but must be submitted by Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009.

Gingerbread house drop-off is Monday, November 30th through Wednesday, December 2nd at noon. After that, public voting will take place Thursday, December 3rd through Friday, December 11th. And finally, the winners will be announced on Saturday, December 12th at  11 am.

Art Expo Continues

Works by Kyle Williamson will be on display at the library from October 26th through November 21st.  Williamson’s work strives to explore what is beneath the surface of the everyday world, and bring light to the overlooked or unseen aspects of ordinary scenes.  A photographer, artist and teacher, Williamson resides in New Freedom with his wife and three children.
