The Friends of the Library cordially invite you
to celebrate “Love your Library” month at our
third annual Love Your Library Chocolate
Fest on Saturday, February 4th from
11:30 am to 1:30 pm. The snow date is
Tuesday, February 7th from 5:30- 7:30 pm.
Library visitors may sample chocolate treats as
they browse the collections. Kids can make a
valentine craft. We will also have a special
display of Victorian Valentines from the private
collection of Kathleen Aymin.
Book Discussion
The American Girl Book Discussion Group
will meet on Tuesday, February 21 at 4:30 p.m.
We’ll talk about American Girl
Samantha. This
program is for children in grades 1 to 5 and
includes a discussion, snacks, and a craft.
The Book Discussion Group
will meet on Tuesday, February 21 at 7
p.m. to discuss
Winter
Garden by Kirsten Hannah.
Storytimes
Babies and Books, Toddler Time and Preschool
Storytime will begin February 1. Babies and
Books will be held on Wednesdays at 10:30,
Toddler Time will be on Thursdays at 10:15 or
11:15 and Preschool Storytime will be on Fridays
at 10:30 or 1:00. Call the library for more
information.
Join us as we celebrate Dr. Seuss’
Birthday with Read Across America Day
on Monday, March 5 at 10:30. Stories, fun
and, of course, birthday cake will be shared.
For children ages 3 to 6.
Book Sale
The Friends of the Library will hold their
next quarterly Book Sale beginning
Saturday, March
3 starting at 10 am and continuing during
regular library hours until Saturday, March 10.
There are thousands of items in excellent
condition!
