Teens Make Waves @ Red Land
Here's the schedule of teen events.

 

Register now for Right on the Money. This four- session program uses story books to introduce concepts like planning, spending, saving and borrowing to children ages 5-7 and their parents. The program will be held at the library on Wednesdays, September 8, 15, 22 and 29 from 6:30-8 pm. The program is free but class size is limited so register online or by calling the library. Dinner will be served.

Tuesday, August 17 at 7 pm the Book Discussion Group will meet to discuss Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl by Harriet Jacobs.

Registration for storytime begins Monday, August 23. Stop in for more details and to pick up a schedule.

It’s that time of year again! Public libraries in Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, and York counties will officially launch the 2010 One Book, One Community: Our Region Reads annual reading campaign at a special news conference on Wednesday, August 25 at 4 pm at the Fredricksen Library in Camp Hill. Interested individuals and book groups are welcome to attend. Contact Karen at khostetter@yorklibraries.org for more information.

The Friends of the Library will hold their next quarterly book sale beginning Saturday, September 11 starting at 10 am and continuing during regular library hours until Saturday, September  18. There are thousands of items in excellent condition!
