Libraries Present Books for Babies
at Community Health Center
 
 
Nancy Orwick, York Hospital Reach Out and Read coordinator, accepts a library gift packet from York County Library System representatives,  Paula Gilbert, Youth Services Director and Trish Calvani, Executive Director.

The gift includes the board book, Get Ready, Baby by Margaret Miller, literature to encourage families to use library services and explains how to get a library card.

The gift packets are given to parents  attending the health center for a two-month child well visit. Books for Babies is a component of the Reach Out and Read program,
co-chaired by Almira Contractor, and encourages families to become lifelong readers.
