The Friends of Paul Smith Library is a volunteer group that supports the Library through programs, events and fundraisers. The Friends help and run the annual book drives, Big Book Sales, and the Designer Bag Bingo. The group also represents the Library at local community functions and events, including the New Freedom Parade and New Freedom Fest.

An annual scholarship is given on behalf of the Paul Smith Library of Southern York County, through the Friends group, to students at Susquehannock High School that meet the requirements set forth in the application.

If you are interested in becoming a Friend of the Paul Smith Library, please contact Louann Lucas at llucas@yorklibraries.org or (717) 235-4313 for more information!
