To connect to the text-based version of Cool CAT, you must have telnet software configured for your browser. 

Windows XP, Windows 98 and newer versions of Windows 95 come with a telnet program installed. Call your Internet Service Provider for assistance in configuring your browser to work with telnet.

Login Instructions

After the telnet connection is made, use the following login information:

1. At the Login: prompt type yorklib
2. At each prompt, press the <Enter> key until you see Do you want to test the terminal emulation? (Y/[N]).
3. Press the <n> key.  There is no need to test the emulation.
4. When you are in Cool CAT, follow the directions on the screen.

Exiting from Cool CAT

1. Type SO (for Start Over) to return to the menu.  Press the  <Enter> key.
2. Type 13 (for Logoff) and press the <Enter> key.
3. When the telnet program tells you that you are disconnected, close the window. You will be returned to your browser.
