All students in York and Adams Counties are invited to enter our 21st Annual Poetry Contest. Winners will be chosen in 6 different grade categories. Click here for a full list of rules and regulations.

Bookflix BookFLIX for Children Watch the story and read the book!  This new online literacy resource pairs classic video storybooks with related nonfiction eBooks to build a love of reading and learning. 
Just One More Book  One More Book!  A podcast updated 3 times a week, which promotes and celebrates literacy and great children’s books. 
Family Place at Martin Library The Family Place at Martin Library 

This program consists of five free workshops that give parents and caregivers the opportunity to play with their children (from birth to age three) and interact with their peers in a supportive environment. 

There are also playgroups for graduates of the program.

The Screen Actors Guild Foundation is proud to bring you Storyline Online, an on-line streaming video program featuring SAG members reading children's books aloud.

One Book, Every Young Child is Pennsylvania's first ever collaborativeUp, Down, All Around project using the "One Book One State" program to highlight the importance of early literacy development in preschoolers.
