G.O.A.L.

Campaign begins September 16th & ends October 3rd, 2008

Flyer on the Program   |  Information for Homeschoolers

York County Libraries and PeoplesBank invite you to be part of a brand new membership campaign
designed to put a library card into the hands of every first grade child in York County

All public, private, and parochial school children will receive packets of information through the schools. Home school and cyber school students sign up directly at their local library.

Together, we can encourage a thirst for reading by introducing first graders to the abundance of books, programs, and computer resources available through free library membership.

With your help, 5,800 first graders can have their own library card!

Exciting Incentives

All of the children who participate in the library card campaign will receive prizes each time they visit their local public library until they reach the top prize, Hi! Fly Guy, a book by children’s author Tedd Arnold.
