The Friends of Red
Land Community Library is a non-profit community
organization dedicated to developing the resources and
services of our library. Our meetings are held in the
library on the second Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm
The Friends support the library by:
§
Encouraging public
awareness and appreciation of the library and its service.
§
Raising one quarter of
library operating funds, approximately $30,000 per year.
§
Providing financial and
volunteer support for the children’s summer reading club,
adult programs and other special library programs.
§
Sponsoring a quarterly
book sale and volunteer appreciation events.
§
Encouraging public
support of the library through gifts of money, memorial
donations, endowments and bequests.
