The College Board

This site should be first on your list when looking for any college information. It has everything you might need: Test Prep, Scholarship Search, In-depth information for thousands of colleges. Plus its the only place online where you can sign up for your SAT:I and SAT:II tests. Has almost all the information you need to find and get into the right school for you.

By far the most popular college ranking website, Has all the traditional information you might need such as SAT Percentile Ranges and Admission Rates.

  

Yahoo Education: College rankings

A good website to begin your college search, provides the U.S. news rankings in an easy to read format, and individual information of most U.S. colleges.

 

College and University Rankings

This site provides links to other ranking sites, including some of the less common ones such as college prowler and Peterson’s. This is a good site to visit if you really want to research a school.

 

Financial Aid & Scholarship Links

College Toolkit

It is one of the most comprehensive sites for life after high school... and everything on the site is free for students to use!

 

FinAid! The Smart Student Guide to Financial Aid

Finaid is an excellent website for beginners who want to learn more about the financial aid process. It has several useful calculators such as an EFC (expected financial contribution) calculator and a college cost calculator. Also explains what different types of financial aid are.

 

Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency

Official website of the PHEAA, an organization that provides grants, loans, and scholarships to PA residents to attend institutes of higher education located in PA.

 

Free Application For Federal Student Aid

The first step in getting money to pay for college, The FAFSA is a form used by the government and most colleges and universities to determine your eligibility for need-based aid.

 

Fastweb Scholarship Search

A Scholarship Search Engine with over 600,000 scholarships listed. You can find scholarships that you are eligible for and sort them by dollar amount and deadlines.

 

Free College Scholarship Search

Another scholarship search engine, Scholarships.com has lists to various scholarships for specific groups such as children of 9/11 victims.

 

Guaranteed Scholarships

This website is a list of Scholarships where you just have to meet the criteria listed, gain admission to the school, enroll, and you will receive the scholarship(s) listed. All of the scholarships listed do not require an application, essay or anything of that sort.
