technology. Dollars are used to purchase new books,
audio books, and DVDs.

large businesses. Eligible

Friends
of Martin Library Programming Fund
– Contributions to this fund
enable the Library to create, implement and continue
our free, programming innovations attracting new
visitors and serving our monthly patrons. Gifts to this fund make programming for people of
all ages possible, including (but not limited to)
the Summer Reading Club and The Family Place for
children, the Youth Empowerment Summit and Teen Job
Training Program for young adults, and the GO!
series and One Book, One Community events for
adults.
Planned Gifts –
Nearly one hundred years ago Milton D. Martin made a
planned gift, a library for all the people of York. Others followed his
lead. And in just the same way, your generosity can
live on – through a bequest by will or planned
gift.

Martin
Library Honors Program
– Since 1995, the Martin Library Honors Committee
has recognized 21 individuals for their dedication
to the Library and to the York Community. The
income from these programs is used to purchase new
books for our collections each year. The Honors
Fund for each of these individuals remains open for
contributions in perpetuity.
Honor
& Memorial Gift Book Program
– Contributions to this program enable the library
to add materials to the collection in memory or
honor of a donor's loved one or to commemorate a
special day, such as a birthday or anniversary.
