The
Board of Martin Library invites you to become a member of the
Milton Martin Legacy Society. The Legacy Society was created to
honor today those whose estate planning includes a gift to
Martin Library.
Because government and
corporate grant funding fluctuates, Martin Library depends
heavily on private contributions. Bequests, both large and
small, ensure the long range financial stability of the library.
By leaving a legacy you have the satisfaction of knowing that
you will enrich the lives of future generations.
Anyone can leave a gift! "Estate" is a word used to describe any
money, property or personal belongings that you own at time of
death. Many people set aside a certain dollar amount. Others
leave a percentage of their estate or any assets left over after
their family has been provided for. Some people choose to donate
cash, securities, or personal property. Others leave life
insurance policies, or funds from a retirement account or other
financial asset.
Please let us know if
you have made a provision for Martin Library in your will so we
may include you in the Milton Martin Legacy Society!
Your gift may provide you with various tax advantages. All
legacy funds are added to the endowment to be used in
perpetuity. The principal remains untouched and the interest is
used for purchasing library materials and continuing the ongoing
program of the library.
If you have included Martin Library in your will or would like
more information please complete the
Legacy Society Interest Form
or contact the development office at 717.846.5300 ext. 266,
