– New in 2007, an unrestricted gift of $30,000 (payable over
three years) enables Martin Library to enhance our core services
and meet the diverse needs of our growing community.
Educational
Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC)
–
Martin Library is approved to receive donations through the
Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC) from eligible
businesses in support of the Summer Reading Club program and
author visits implemented in collaboration with county school
districts and educational centers. The EITC program gives the
business community a way to be directly involved in education.

GO! series

Martin Library engages new library visitors and provides new
learning opportunities to our 40,000 monthly patrons through our
new GO! program series. This innovative program connects
our resources to promote life-long learning to every member of
the family. Each series offers an eight week themed free
program series featuring displays, author visits, workshops,
book discussions, special events, and contests. We’re seeking
three series sponsors for 2009.
Martin Library
is proud to have the support of the York business community,
many choosing to make a donation through the vehicles listed
above and to our Annual Book Campaign, Friends of Martin Library
Campaign and General Expenses Fund. Thank you for supporting
the value of literacy and education, and ensuring that they are
