Quilt Raffle
Tickets for the annual raffle of a quilt and other handmade
items are on sale at the front desk, to benefit the
Dillsburg Area Public Library. The drawings will take place
on December 5th at 12:00 noon. Tickets can be purchases for
$1 each, or $5 for six tickets.
Artist of the Month
The photography of Charles Hubbard will be on display during
the month of November. This has been his main creative
outlet for the past 20 years. The following is a quote from
the artist, “I strive to keep human emotions as the subject
of my photography; the point of interest may be a tree, an
old car, a person, or an animal, but the actual subject is
less obvious and often depends upon the heart of the
viewer.”
The Library will be closed on Thursday, November 26th, and
Friday, November 27th, 2009 in observance of Thanksgiving.
We will be reopen following regular hours on Saturday,
November 28, 2009.
